2. Stabilize the Ladder
Set up your ladder on a stable surface and avoid leaning the ladder against the gutters, which can damage them. Using a ladder stabilizer will help you stay safe and also protect your gutters. It’s also a good idea to have a second person nearby to hold the ladder or pick up anything you drop.
3. Set Up Your Work Area

4. Scoop Out the Gutters

5. Flush With Water
To finish cleaning your gutters, use your garden hose to run some water into them. This quick rinse helps flush out the last bits of debris, plus it gives you a chance to check for leaks.
